Phoenix Cellular has been ranked 40th in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100, a prestigious list of the UK’s fastest growing companies.

The company, led by industry veterans Marc and Paul Walters along with Andrew Dulla was only established in 2015, has experienced rapid growth in one of the fastest growing area of mobile phone distribution.  Turnover is expected to exceed £50m for the current year with an annualised growth rate in excess of 70%.

With the opening of Phoenix’s Hong Kong office, joining up Europe and Asia, coupled with a brand new custom built 40,000 sq. ft distribution centre in Crewe, Phoenix expect to see turnover exceed £75m in the next 12 months.

Paul Walters, Director commented:

“This is amazing achievement for the entire team at Phoenix Cellular, we’ve only just completed our 4th year in business and to have been ranked in the Fast Track 100 is incredible.

The used phone market should be on everyone’s radar, forecasts predict it to be worth over $50bn by 2022, and by the growth we’re experiencing this isn’t surprising.

In 2019 we opened an office in Hong Kong, this side of the business is also experiencing massive growth, in its first 12 months trading it’s on track to turnover in excess of £20m.

We’ve got big plans for the business over the next 12 months with a brand-new custom-built facility which will allow us to process more devices and double our staff numbers.”
